Amir Valiullin signs with Binghamton

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioner Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Amir Valiullin has signed for the 2026-27 season.  Amir is the seventh rookie player and second goalie to sign ahead of training camp this fall. 

Amir is a 21-year-old netminder from Ufa, Russia, where he played his youth hockey.  He traveled to North America for the 2021-22 season playing 16U with the Toronto Royals AA program.  The following year he played up an age bracket with the Markham Majors U18 AAA team before joining the North York Rangers in OJHL.

After a change of scenery in the 2024-25 season, Valiullin joined the Toronto Jr Canadiens, and his numbers soared. He posted a record of 18-5-1 with 1.80 GAA and SV% of .947%.  Most recently, Amir spent the 2025-26 season with the Springfield Jr Blues in the NAHL.  With the Jr. Blues, Amir was able to go 19-12-0 and recorded a 2.56 GAA and SV% of .915%.  

Valiullin joins countrymen Bondarenko and Kuligan on the 2026-27 roster.
