Anderson re-signs for 5th season

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioner Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Defenseman Jesse Anderson has re-signed for the 2026-27 season! Jesse is the fifth returning player to sign ahead of training camp this fall.
Jesse is now set to embark on his fifth season with the organization, serving as an assistant captain for the previous three. Over the course of his tenure for the Black Bears, Anderson has become a hybrid-style of player, be able to adapt to playing as a defenseman or a forward.
Last season, Anderson appeared in 51 games, scored four goals and added 22 assists. He finished the regular season with a +23 rating. Anderson ranks third all-time in franchise history in games played with the organization with 183. He also managed to cut his PIM down to 53 from 111 during the 2024-25 campaign.
Jesse played in all nine playoff games last year, adding one goal against the Topeka Scarecrows in the opening round. He is the first player to re-sign that has been a member of all three Commissioners Cup Finals teams.
