BLACK BEARS ACQUIRE LEVAC FROM PORT HURON

BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Black Bears announced that the club has acquired forward Justin Levac from the Port Huron Prowlers in exchange for defenseman Egor Nosov. 

Levac, 32, has played in nine games this season for Port Huron and recorded two goals and four assists for six points. In 304 games in the Federal Prospects Hockey League, the Ontario native has 375 points (120 goals, 255 assists) in 304 games played with four teams.

The 6-foot-3, 216-pound forward has six goals and 24 assists in 56 Southern Professional Hockey League games with Augusta and Macon. 

During the 2012-13 season, Levac played 17 games with the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears and had two goals and four assists for six points.

The Black Bears return home on Saturday, February 19 for Military Appreciation Night presented by Lockheed Martin. The Black Bears will be wearing special military-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity.
