BLACK BEARS ADD ALDWORTH, LISKIEWICZ

BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Black Bears announced that the club has signed former NCAA DI forward Thomas Aldworth and NCAA DIII goaltender Owen Liskiewicz.

Aldworth, 26, spent three seasons playing NCAA hockey for (D1) Quinnipiac University where he recorded 32 points (17 goals, 15 assists) in 78 games played. The 6-foot-1, 194-pound forward helped Quinnipiac capture the ECAC Championship in the 2015-16 campaign. Prior to his collegiate career, the Brownsville, TN native played for the United States Hockey League’s Tri-City Storm, North American Hockey League’s Lone Star Brahmas, and British Columbia Hockey League’s Vernon Vipers.

Liskiewicz, 23, spent the past two seasons in net for NCAA (D3) Morrisville State College where he suited up for 20 games. The Redbank, NJ native had a 3.84 goals-against average and a .897 save percentage through two seasons. Prior to attending Morrisville State College, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound goaltender split the 2018-19 season with the Western States Hockey league’s Oklahoma City Jr. Blazers and NA3HL’s L/A Nordiques.

The Black Bears return home on Saturday, December 18 for Teddy Bear Toss Night presented by 98.1 The Hawk to benefit the against rival Watertown at 7:00 p.m.! Live music on the concourse, happy hour drink specials from 5:30 p.m. until puck drop at 7:00 p.m. Fans will be able to meet and get photos with Santa throughout the game.
