Black Bears Announce Departure of First Coach in Franchise History

The Binghamton Black Bears are happy to announce that coach James Henry has accepted a position in the ECHL.

The primary goal of any team at this level is to see the organization advance players and staff to the highest level of the game. To already have the head coach make his way to the ECHL speaks volumes about the success Binghamton has coming in the future.

The Black Bears would like to thank Coach Henry for assembling a solid team and preparing the city for the first season in the FPHL. The search for the new coach is already underway and we anticipate an announcement shortly.
