BLACK BEARS INTRODUCE NEW BROADCASTER

Binghamton, NY- Carousel Sports LLC and the Binghamton Black Bears are excited to announce the addition of Brooks Hill to the front office staff as the Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations.  

Brooks is native of Wake Forest, NC and attended East Carolina University, where he graduated in May of 2020.  During his time at ECU, Brooks played lacrosse for the Pirates, and was a multi-media intern at Pirate Radio WDLX in Greenville.  

"I am excited for my opportunity to join a wonderful organization.  Hockey has always been a huge passion of mine, and I can not wait to experience this season here in Binghamton," Hill said.  

Following graduation Brooks was able to work in summer-collegiate baseball in the Coastal Plain League for three years with the Holly Springs Salamanders and most recently the Wilson Tobs as Director of Media Relations & Broadcasting.  

Outside of baseball season, Brooks worked at Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, NC as a reporter and producer covering news, weather, traffic and sports.  After his shifts, he would would broadcast high school sports for North Raleigh Christian Academy, and was selected to call the NCISAA basketball state championships for the 2022 season at Wingate University.  

Brooks will be the new voice of the Black Bears all season long.  All home games will be livestreamed on the Binghamton Black Bears YouTube page.  When the black bears are on the road, fans will be able to listen on Fox Sports 1430 Binghamton and on the iHeartMedia app.
