BLACK BEARS SIGN JAMIE BUCELL

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears will add to the forward depth this weekend with the signing of Jamie Bucell.  Bucell, a former Utica College Pioneer, will officially be added to the team's roster ahead of Military Appreciation Weekend this Friday and Saturday.  

Bucell played five season with the Pioneers, serving as an alternate captain in his fifth and final season with Utica.  In NCAA hockey, Bucell produced 55 points as a center.  Bucell kickstarted his professional career last season, playing in five games with the SPHL's Macon Mayhem in Georgia.  

Bucell clocks in at 5'11" and weighs 185 pounds.  The native of Garfield Heights, Ohio, will look to play in his first game of the season for the Black Bears this weekend against the Motor City Rockers.  

It is Military Appreciation Weekend Friday and Saturday night, presented by Lockheed Martin. The team will be wearing special alternate jerseys representing the stars and stripes, along with the seals of the Armed Forces.  Fans can bid on the special jerseys live after Saturday's game in section 1.
