Bondarenko signs with Binghamton

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears are proud to announce the signing of Ivan Bondarenko for the 2025-26 season.  Bondarenko has spent the last four seasons in the Pensacola Ice Flyers in the SPHL.  

The 28-year-old forward is a native of Moscow, Russia, but has been playing hockey in North America since 2013.  The left-handed forward has previously played two seasons in the FPHL for the Columbus River Dragons, four games in the ECHL with the Wichita Thunder and most recently, the Pensacola Ice Flyers during the last four seasons. 

With the Ice Flyers, Bondarenko appeared in 211 games, recorded 53 goals and 135 assists, totaling 188 points.  He also appeared in seven playoff games in Florida.  

Bondarenko is the first of two, big-name signings to come this week for the Black Bears as they look to three-peat as Commissioner's Cup Champions.
