Brandon Barrett Swoops into Binghamton

BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioner Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Brandon Barrett has been signed for the 2026-27 season. Barrett is the second, rookie-signee ahead of training camp this fall.  

Brandon is a 24-year-old forward from Lake Worth, Florida.  Most recently, Barrett played four seasons with the Temple University Owls in the ACHA.  During his freshman year, Brandon was coached by Brant Sherwood before leaving the Owls to take the Interim-Coach position with the Black Bears in the 2022-23 season.

In his four years at Temple, Barrett played in 105 games, scored 51 goals and added 37 assists.  He also led the team in points his senior year.  He was chosen to serve as team captain in both his junior and senior years.  Prior to his time at Temple, Barrett played prep-hockey at Williston Northampton School in Massachusetts, one season with the Philadelphia Flyers Elite U18 AAA squad and one season with the Connecticut Chiefs in the EHL.
