FPHL G.O.T.Y. Tmej re-signs for 2nd Season

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioners Cup Champions, are proud to announce that reigning, FPHL Goaltender of the Year, Dominik Tmej has re-signed for the 2026-27 season!  Dom is the seventh returning player to sign ahead of training camp this fall. 

Tmej led the FPHL in all four major goaltending categories.  He won 28 games, posted a .932 SV%, had a 1.83 GAA and recorded seven shutouts.  He finished his rookie campaign with a 28-2-1 record, and had 778 saves.  He was the only goalie in the FPHL last year to recorded a sub 2.00 GAA and set the regular season franchise record for shutouts. 

In his rookie season, Tmej went on a 14-game win streak and also posted three-straight shutouts across three different weekends and opponents.  He helped secure the Black Bears third-straight Commissioners Cup by going 7-2-0 during the postseason.
