GENO DeANGELO RE-SIGNED FOR 2022-23 SEASON

BINGHAMTON – The Binghamton Black Bears announced today that the club has re-signed forward Geno DeAngelo for the 2022-23 season. 

DeAngelo, a Binghamton native, recorded 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points in 59 games played. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound forward also added a goal in the first round of the playoffs against Danbury. DeAngelo had his best game of the season on January 14 against Danbury, netting a hat trick and adding an assist in an 8-3 win.

“I am thrilled to be able to have Geno back for the upcoming season,” said Head Coach Gary Gill. “He improved throughout the season, brings fantastic energy, and has an amazing team-first mentality.”

The Black Bears will continue to announce player signings in the coming weeks. Fan Fest is Friday, August 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, in conjunction with the Visions’ Summer Concert Series. Meet Black Bears players, win tickets to the home opener, and so much more!
