Gorman heads to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioner Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Forward Chance Gorman has signed for the 2026-27 season!  

Chance is a native of Clinton, New Jersey, where he played most of his youth/prep hockey until he attended Elmira College.  Beginning in 2021, Gorman was a member of the Soaring Eagles hockey team for five seasons. (Covid-19)  At the NCAA DIII level, he appeared in 118 games, and qualified for the NCAA Tournament twice.  He finished his career at Elmira College with 54 goals and 58 assists.  

After Gorman concluded his final collegiate-season, he joined the Fayetteville Marksmen of the SPHL in the final stretch of the 2024-25 season. He played in the final 11 games of the regular season and one playoff game in his introduction to professional hockey.  Gorman played in 11 games last season for the Marksmen as well, but now fully healthy with join the Black Bears for the 2026-27 campaign.
