Marquise Brown becomes 1st D-man Signee

BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioner Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Marquise Brown has been signed for the 2026-27 season. Marquise is the fourth, rookie-signee ahead of training camp this fall and first Defenseman added to the roster.   

Brown is a 22-year-old native of Toronto, Ontario, where he has spent most of his hockey career.  The 6'3" puck-moving defenseman was a standout last season with the Durham Roadrunners of the GMHL, joining the team down the stretch.  In the playoffs, Brown recorded nine goals in 11 games and added five assists.  

Before his latest season with the Roadrunners, Brown spent the previous two years in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with he Leamington Flyers.  In those two years, Brown appeared in 108 regular season games and 26 postseason contests.  He posted 101 total points with the Flyers.
