Ramaekers re-signs for 4th season

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioners Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Defenseman, Scott Ramaekers has re-signed for the 2026-27 season!  Scotty is the third returning defenseman signing ahead of training camp this fall.

Ramaekers started his career with the Black Bears, playing up front as a forward, but made the switch to defenseman full-time last season.  Scotty was one of two players to play in every regular season game last year.  He scored 16 goals, five of which came on the power play, recorded 31 assists and finished the season with a +35 rating.

In the playoffs, Ramaekers played eight of the nine additional games, only missing one due to a upper-body injury.  He scored two goals in the Finals against Pee Dee, one in Game 1 and the final goal of the Black Bears' season in Game 4. Ramaekers is one of the 3x time Commissioners Cup Champions with the Black Bears and the first one to re-sign this offseason.

Congrats Scotty and welcome back to Binghamton!
