Sargis set for second season in Binghamton

BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioners Cup Champions, are proud to announce that veteran-forward, Gehrett Sargis has re-signed for the 2026-27 season!  Gehrett is the sixth returning player to sign ahead of training camp this fall.

Sargis was a mid-season addition for Binghamton last year, making his debut on December 5th against the Port Huron Prowlers.  He would go on to play 36 games in his return to the FPHL, recording 16 goals and 15 assists, including a hat trick on February 27th against the Danbury Hat Tricks.  Not only did he bring depth scoring to the Black Bears forward group, but he is also known for delivering big hits in a timely manner. 

He went on to appear in all nine post season games for the Black Bears.  In the Commissioners Cup Finals, he scored one goal in Game 3 and two in Game 4 vs the Pee Dee IceCats.  He is now a two-time Commissioners Cup Champion (Danville Dashers).
